Effective and stable workmanship.
Radial forces are no longer a problem thanks to the flat surface of the insert which absorbs them. There are no weak points on the tool holder. FourCut is a vertical insert and this makes it extremely resistant. The cutting forces are directed towards the center of the insert and the use of a sub-clamp is superfluous: it is the insert itself that absorbs the forces.
Minimum waste production
The very small size obtained with the use of vertical inserts offers two advantages:
1) Less waste, it is no longer necessary to remove material to obtain the thread.
2) Having more space available, it is possible to use a rotating tailstock for small diameters. This results in stable processing and superior thread quality.
Optimal clearance angle
Perfect cutting conditions. The inserts are sharpened on all sides thanks to a complex manufacturing technology which involves the use of a six-axis sharpener to produce a clearance angle of 7° around the entire profile.
