Zeus® RF3 knurling wheels
The zeus® RF3 milling tools are ideal for pressure-free machining of small, thin-walled workpieces in the axial direction. This series of products can be used to create parallel axis and RGE knurls with the highest requirements in terms of surface finish and measurement precision. The particular design of the tools promotes extremely delicate processing of small, pressure-sensitive parts. Typical fields of application are the processing of tubes, mandrels, bushes or shafts.

With these innovative marking systems it is possible to replace municipal processing phases, thus significantly reducing the cost of setup and processing times. The possibilities for using the technique are numerous and range from the marking of pieces with production data, batch numbers and item codes to the formation of the brand.
Hommel + Keller has also developed application-specific tool systems in the marking technology product segment. The zeus® MR 1 and zeus® MRS 1 tool series allow the machining of different workpiece diameters. MC 1 and MCC 1 are instead designed for continuous machining of the same diameter. Regardless of whether they are dependent or independent of the workpiece diameter, the user in any case benefits from an efficient product solution for marking parts with maximum precision.
